EAL - join us for a unique opportunity on the 27th June

A unique opportunity has arisen to attend the Cambridge University, Anglia Ruskin University and the Bell Foundation’s EAL seminar during which the researchers will present key findings from a recently completed research project which focuses on the experience of newly-arrived EAL students in secondary schools in the East of England.
The study consists of a longitudinal analysis of the social, linguistic and educational experiences of EAL students at two case study schools as well as of a survey EAL provision in secondary schools in the region.
By the end of the seminar attendess will:

Know what the picture of EAL is like in the East of England with a particular focus on NtE secondary school students.

Will be able to establish collaborative networks between schools in the Eastern region.

Share good practice regarding secondary EAL students.
The seminar will take place on 27th June at 4.00 – 6.30 at Norwich Professional Development Centre. Delegates will also have a chance to engage in a professional dialogue and exchange good practice around the EAL provision, teaching and learning with other professionals.
