STEM team hosting regional finals!

29th August, 2018

Earlier this year our STEM team at Educator Solutions hosted the First FIRST ® LEGO® League Jr. Expo at the Kinesis Centre for pupils aged 6 to 9. We are now in a position to continue growing interest by offering the FIRST ® LEGO® League for young people aged 9 – 16.

FIRST ® LEGO® League is a global science and technology competition for teams of students, to encourage an interest in real world issues and develop key skills that are crucial for their future careers. FIRST ® LEGO® League makes STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) subjects fun and gives students the confidence to study them further.

Students put themselves against other teams at a regional level for the opportunity to compete at the UK and Ireland Final. Award winners at the National Final are invited to take part on a global stage at one of the international events.

This year we will be hosting this robotics-based life skill competition regional finals at the Forum Norwich on Thursday 18th January 2019.
