Due to the challenges created by Coronavirus, your RSHE curriculum is more relevant than ever! Equipping pupils with essential knowledge, values and interpersonal skills to be safe, healthy (physically and emotionally) and positioned to manage their academic, personal and social lives in a positive way will support attendance, attainment and whole-school improvement. Whether your school has an embedded RSHE programme and you are seeking reassurance this is compliant with the new RSHE guidance, or your school wants to develop a completely new curriculum to raise standards, this bootcamp will whip your provision into exemplary evidence-based best practice!

Attendees will leave this course with a whole-school approach action plan to embed effective RSHE, including realistically achievable methods to adopt within a busy school environment. You will also receive a model RSHE policy and scheme of work. By the end of the session delegates will:

  • Understand key requirements of the new guidance, including legal duties and curriculum content.
  • Develop a strategic framework, ensuring needs-led, relevant approaches to RSHE that support the bespoke ethos and values of your school.
  • Identify high quality, effective RSHE teaching, learning and assessment, including gathering evidence for Ofsted.
