Our RSE Expertise Josie Rayner-Wells is an established national RSHE Adviser supporting public health, local authorities and individual schools to deliver needs-led, inclusive and aspirational RSHE. She has over 20 years experience of teaching RSHE in some of the most challenging environments to some of the hardest to engage target groups. Josie uses her extensive teaching experience to develop effective RSHE at a strategic level writing strategies and guidance that foster a whole-school approach, delivering measurable evidence of impact. She enjoys cascading her wealth of experience through a range of high-quality, evidence-based training courses. Josie has written accredited programmes of RSHE for the European Social Fund and Learning Skills Council. She works as an Associate for the national Sex Education Forum and has previously worked on the national Government Equalities Office funded programme ‘Learn Equality, Live Equal’, supporting schools to create a whole school approach to addressing homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying in schools. Additionally, she delivers a variety of training courses nationally including Comic Relief funded ‘Outside the Box’, a sex and relationships intervention programme for young people at risk of Child Sexual Exploitation.
