Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE)

Is your PSHE programme effectively meeting the needs of your pupils, supporting wider school statutory duties and initiatives, and helping pupils to develop character skills, values and attitudes to live safely in the modern world?  Can your school assess PSHE to provide evidence of impact?

Are you confident that your school fully promotes gender equality, including gender questioning and transgender pupils?

The early years are a crucial stage in every childs life. Settings have a duty to challenge gender stereotyping and celebrate all diversity, including LGBT people and their families, to support every child to understand and embrace difference. This course will explain why thinking about lesbian, gay, bi and trans inclusion is important in early years and how this fits into existing practice and wider inclusion work. It will show staff how to meet the statutory requirements of the EYFS and can be attended by any practitioner working with children aged 0-5, whatever their role, confidence level or knowledge of diversity and inclusion.

At Educator Solutions we are very aware of the challenges educational establishments may face and our carefully planned programme provides professional training and support to ensure participants are enabled to deliver the highest quality PSHE to meet the needs of their individual school communities, through a whole-school approach that can make a real difference to the health and wellbeing of pupils, attendance and attainment.
