Self Evaluation

Self evaluation is an important ongoing aspect of management to monitor and improve the quality and impact of leadership, including governance and the education of pupils.  Objective, robust and accurate self-evaluation will provide evidence of impact to support those responsible to help strategies and actions that secure continual improvement. Evidence for evaluation is likely to include:

  • Pupils’ progress
  • Pupils’ personal development
  • Behaviour and welfare
  • The impact of leaders’ and managers’ improvements to teaching and assessment
