Eastern Education and Academies Show

21st February, 2018

We’re getting ready for the Eastern Education and Academies Show on 22 February at Newmarket Racecourse and looking forward to sharing expert advice with you through workshops, a breakfast networking session specially for Trustees and Governors and drop in sessions and activities on our stands.

Education Adviser, Victoria Groom, will be facilitating a workshop to consider schools’ curriculum intentions, choices and beliefs within the context of Ofsted, the knowledge based curriculum and evidence informed practice.

Expert trainers Matthew Adams and Lynden Pedley will be hosting a session looking at the key skills that finance professionals in schools need, the benefits they bring and how those skills can be developed.

Find out more about our workshops and please do join us to explore new ideas!

On stand no 181 in the breaks you’ll be able to speak to expert advisers on MAT creation and Academy conversion, staff recruitment and management, finance support and governance issues. Meanwhile, on stand no 203 on the first floor we’ll be showcasing learning opportunities outside the classroom including STEM, Holt Hall and Whitlingham Adventure.

Before the show starts we’re hosting a breakfast networking session for Trustees and Governors. The session provides the opportunity to discuss current challenges with peers.

We look forward to seeing you there!
