Emergency Point of Contact and Visit Emergency

Emergency Point of Contact (EPOC) & Visit Emergency Team Training - Ensuring effective management of emergencies arising from educational site visits. 

This is a nationally developed course to share best practice if faced with an incident/accident during an educational visit.  The training builds on experiences from other Local Authorities following major incidents.

By the end of the course participants will:-

• Know how best to react and support Visit Leaders when faced with an incident/accident on an educational visit.
• Be able to ensure their establishment’s system is  robust enough to deal effectively with emergencies or critical incidents during an off-site visit.

The course is designed for Head teachers, deputy head teachers and senior school managers.
